BIRDS FOR SALE

All birds are one-of-a-kind and are made almost entirely of found materials (like used cardboard, wrapping paper, and cicada wings). Once I run out of a particular covering, I may never find it again. I am happy to accept commissions for additional versions of many of these, if I have the materials in stock or if you have paper you would like to use for a bird. If you would like to commission a bird for yourself or as a gift, please select the “Commission or Gift Certificate” option below.

Most birds incorporate a toilet paper roll as the main structure for the body, so they range in size from about a wren to a starling (c 4-6” high and 4-6” long). I make a few larger birds as well (see the Larger Birds section below, dimensions vary).
